About Lesley Ann Sand, PhD
I am comfortable with both the questioning mind and the intuitive one. My role is not to tell you what your experience means or ask you to adopt my beliefs, but to create a space where you can explore what arises and discover what meaning it may hold for you.
At Quiet Crossings, I offer gentle, professional guidance through past-life and between-life regression. This work invites a quiet crossing inward—to explore long-standing patterns, questions of purpose and path, and the deeper places where meaning and insight may emerge. Whether you arrive with a particular question or are simply drawn to explore, you are welcome here.
My approach
Calm, collaborative, and paced to your nervous system. I use relaxation, focused awareness, and gentle prompts within a clear structure. You remain aware and in charge of your experience; we move at a pace that feels safe and respectful. We always finish with practical integration so insights can support your daily life.
Why this work
(and why with me)
I’m a long-time teacher and researcher, which shapes how I hold sessions: clear explanations, steady presence, and thoughtful follow-up.
My PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience taught me rigor and careful inquiry. Training in spiritual regression with Dr. Linda Backman (RavenHeart Center) opened a complementary door—one that helps many people make sense of patterns that logic alone can’t untangle. I guide both Past-Life Regression and Between-Lives Regression (often known as “Life Between Lives” in the Michael Newton tradition).
My practice brings these worlds together: reverence for your inner wisdom, and a grounded, professional container for the work.

What to expect
Before
We clarify your intention and any questions. You set up a quiet space, stable internet, and (ideally) headphones.
During
We follow what naturally arises; I reflect and ask gentle questions. You’re aware, in control, and can pause or redirect at any time.
After
We debrief, connect themes to your life now, and outline simple next steps.
Who I work with
People who are:
Noticing repeating themes they can’t explain
Seeking clarity on purpose or direction
Moving through grief, fear, or transition
Curious about the soul’s perspective with grounded, non-dogmatic guidance
If visualization is hard for you, that’s okay. We follow whatever shows up.
Clients on the autism spectrum and others who experience the world differently are warmly welcome.
Years of working with children and adults across many “labels” have deepened my respect for the wisdom in each unique way of being.
That respect is why I’ve followed with interest as the University of Virginia’s Division of Perceptual Studies launches a new research study into “anomalous communication” — open to people from all backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals. It’s early, serious research, not a claim about anyone’s abilities. But it echoes something I’ve long believed: there is more than one correct way for a mind to work, and more than one way to perceive. If that resonates with you, you’re welcome here.
Ethics and care
This is spiritual/educational work and not a substitute for medical, psychological, or legal care. I respect your beliefs and background, maintain confidentiality, and refer out when another form of support would serve you better.
